SALLY MERRIMAN enjoys performing with a wide array of ensembles on modern and historical instruments. She performs on historical instruments with such groups as the Handel & Haydn Society, Boston Cecilia, Grand Harmonie, North Carolina Baroque Orchestra, and on modern bassoon with the Boston Ballet Orchestra, Symphony New Hampshire, Boston Classical Orchestra, and Boston Lyric Opera. Sally received her Bachelor of Music degree from the North Carolina School of the Arts and continued her studies at the Juilliard School. She has held positions with orchestras in Israel including the Tel Aviv Opera Orchestra and Haifa Symphony. She currently lives in Somerville.
